Support Our Seminarians, Inc.

SOS, Inc. prayerfully and financially assists our Phoenix young men in seminary and discernment, with paying some of the costs for life’s unexpected events.

“Go, therefore, and make disciples of all the nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father, and of the Son and of the holy Spirit, teaching them to observe all that I have commanded you. And behold, I am with you always, until the end of the age.”

[Matt 28: 19-20]

While the diocese covers the large costs of educating our seminarians, along with some financial assistance by several other organizations in the valley, many people are unaware that our seminarians still have personal costs that are their responsibility.

As we all know, emergencies take place – parents lose jobs or become ill and unexpected travel costs occur, cars break down, illness and accidents happen, and many other situations that can cause much stress to our seminarians and their families.  Also, books, liturgical supplies, and clothing need to be taken care of and many families are just not able to always help with all of these costs.

Help our seminarians

Although the diocese covers the large costs of educating our seminarians, they still have personal costs that average $1,200 per semester.
